The DDW wrestling school is Poland’s and Eastern Europe’s first professional wrestling school. The school, which opened in the summer of 2009, is located in Warsaw, at Klub Karuzela, (ul. Konarskiego 85) in the Bemowo district.
We are capable of training all men and women who would like to become wrestlers, divas, commentators, referees, managers or any other part of the wrestling business.
All students must be at least 18 years of age or be 16 - 17 years of age with a parent's written permission.
The trainings will take place in a full sized (5.5 meters x 5.5 meters) professional wrestling ring which has been imported directly from a reputable wrestling ring maker in the United States. It is advised that you come prepared to train before you begin. This involves having the proper ring gear: high-top athletic shoes, knee and elbow pads (not hard-shell), tight fitting underwear and athletic shorts or pants. It is also recommended that you see your doctor for a physical before training.

Head Trainer

The head trainer of the school is Don Roid. Don has been a professional wrestler for 10 years and has wrestled in several countries around Europe as well as in the USA. Don was trained in Manahawkin, NJ, USA by “The Executioner” Tom Rumsby from 2000 – 2001. As of now, Don is the ONLY professional wrestler currently living in Poland, and therefore the only person experienced and qualified to teach professional wrestling in this country. Don will be at the school for each training session, and will personally train each student.

Training with the Stars

In addition to the above training, DDW students will also have the opportunity to train with famous wrestling superstars from all over the world, many of whom have been seen on TV for WWE or TNA. Training with these superstars will be held at regular intervals at an additional cost. As of now, the DDW school has already organized training camps with the following wrestlers:

Joe Legend - The man who has trained numerous WWE and TNA wrestlers including Edge, Christian, Trish Stratus, Petey Williams, Gail Kim, Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin and many more.

El Generico – a masked wrestler from Mexico who has wrestled in the “Ring of Honor” promotion in America as well as around the world

Michael Kovac – who is considered to be one of the top wrestlers in Europe and the best trainer in Austria.

Andrzej Supron – who is perhaps Poland’s most successful amateur wrestler, winning a silver medal at the 1980 Olympic Games. Andrzej visited the school in the summer of 2009.
