FAQ
Q: How old do you have to be to train?
A: 18. However, if you are 16 or 17 you can still train with a parent’s written consent.

Q: If I’m 15 can I train?
A: No. Generally people under 16 years get hurt more easily. Wrestling is a very dangerous sport.

Q: Is 21 too old to train?
A: Absolutely not. Many wrestlers begin training in their 20’s or even 30’s.

Q: Can girls train?
A: Yes. The training is the same for a girl or a guy.

Q: What kind of equipment do I need to train?
A: We recommend wearing high-top athletic shoes (for ankle support), knee and elbow pads (not the hard-shell kind), tight fitting underwear, athletic shorts or pants and a t-shirt. For girls it’s the same, but make sure you have an athletic style bra.

Q: Where can I get real wrestling gear like they wear on TV?
A: You can’t buy it in Poland. We recommend buying it online. One good website is www.highspots.com.

Q: Where is the school located?
A: In Rzeszów, Poland in Hala Walter. The address is Langiewicza 27.

Q: Will the school be moving to a different city?
A: No. The school is located in Rzeszów and we’re not planning on moving the school to a different city or opening any new branches of the school.

Q: Should I train wrestling on my own before I come (backyard wrestling)?
A: Absolutely not, under any circumstances. Backyard wrestling often leads to serious injuries that could prevent you from becoming a real wrestler. The "training" that you are doing without the guidance of a qualified trainer will only complicate your professional training later. Everything you learn is just bad habits, which you will have to unlearn. DDW in no way endorses backyard wrestling.

Q: What are my chances of making it to the WWE or TNA?
A: DDW and its trainers do not guarantee success or a WWE contract. However, we do guarantee the best possible wrestling training you can get at an affordable price. We will teach you the fundamentals of professional wrestling, and help you to get your foot in the door of the wrestling business. Upon graduation from the school you can begin competing on our shows. When you are ready, we will help you bookings abroad.

Q: Do I need some qualifications in order to train?
A: No. However, you should be in good physical condition before enrolling. Wrestling is a very physically demanding sport and you have to be ready to work hard. No educational merits are required.

Q: How long does it take before I can wrestle on a show?
A: There is no set time. Generally it takes about 6 months of regular training, but everyone progresses at their own pace. Before DDW will book you on a show, you must prove that you can perform reasonably well during training. A spot on the DDW roster must be earned, it isn’t given.
